3 mothers, a nanny, and a father are at a Mommy meet up, aggressively “socializing” with each other while ostensibly looking after their children. As circumstances shift dramatically, the mothers turn to survival mode and their maternal instincts are put to an extreme test.

OUR DEAR DEAD DRUG LORD @ WP Theater until Oct. 27

Florida, 2008, mid election cycle. Four high school girls form a club dedicated to summoning the ghost of Pablo Escobar. Sacrificial rituals and Ouija boards galore, these girls are attempting to exorcise more than just evil spirits… Something deeper and, perhaps, even darker.

Eisa wants to be the next Lauryn Hill and is struggling to break free of her sleepy New England town where she feels hopelessly trapped. Her fathers are each being pulled in different directions of their own, one trying to re-connect with an old love, the other clinging to the path he always believed would be their future.”

A powerful one person show originally devised and performed by Anna Deavere Smith, Fires In The Mirror chronicles the Crown Heights Riots in 1991 through the denizens of Brooklyn from both the black and Jewish communities.
